We caught up with Alicia Smith this week and had a little chat about her amazing transformation and weight loss journey since being at Citywide Fitness.

CF: Before finding citywide, what was your struggle? What were your biggest frustrations?

AS: After I had my second child I weighed 120kg and had very high blood pressure. Something had to change, I had never been that heavy before and didn’t want to be taking medication for the rest of my life. I started walking whenever I could but I needed to do more.
Food has always been a struggle for me and my weight has always gone up and down.
I just ate what I wanted without thinking about the consequences

CF: How did your struggle and frustrations affect your life? What did you feel like before you made your transformation?
AS: Before my transformation I had no confidence and didn’t really like to try new things. I’m now doing things I haven’t done for years like riding a bike and new things like lifting weights.

CF: How did our program help you?

AS: A friend suggested Citywide because I could take children which was the incentive for me. If I couldn’t take my youngest I couldn’t go.
Doing a transformation program helped me understand food, something I had never really given much thought too.

CF: How is life different for you now?

Since I’ve joined Citywide I’ve lost 30+ kgs!
With ongoing support I have managed to maintain my current weight for over 12 months!
