WHAT IS IT?
The #800gChallenge was designed by OptimizeMe Nutrition.
It’s based around a simple yet powerful concept…Eat 800 grams of fruits and/or vegetables, by weight, per day.
No foods are eliminated but only fruits and veggies count toward the 800g.
Eat the fruits and veggies or your choice. Hit the macros you want.
Raw, cooked, canned, frozen; doesn’t matter! If you can weigh it as a standalone and unprocessed fruit or vegetable, you can count it.
Yep, that’s it!

So why 800g? It’s associated with increased health and is a simplified way to hit those recommended servings of fruits and vegetables.
The meta-analysis by Aune et al. (2017) found improved health associated with amassing 800g of fruit and vegetables per day.
It is important to note this is an observational study. It cannot be concluded that eating this volume of fruits and vegetables will definitively improve your health or lifespan.
Thankfully, fruit and vegetable consumption has very few downsides. 🙏🏼

The cost is $49…cash, card or billing works…please note that it’s free to REGISTER for the Wodify App (that is the platform for the challenge) but it’s $49 to do the challenge…there’s no smoke and mirrors, bait and switch, dodgy marketing tactics going on here…it’s just that Wodify doesn’t take payments for Aussie Dollars right now 🤷🏼♂️
We will be using Wodify Rise to log scores and leaderboard throughout the challenge. More info on scoring can be found here.
