Step One: Free ‘Health and Fitness Audit’
Here at Citywide Fitness, we’re proud to provide free consultations to anyone interested in starting their fitness journey with us.
Let’s face it… finding a program that speaks to you and your goals is hard and sticking with one can be even more difficult. How many times have you started something and not even a few weeks later life gets in the way and you never go back?
That’s why we want to bring you in for a complimentary 1-on-1 session. We want to know more about you, your life, why you want to get fit and where we fit into the picture. We want to know how we can help to keep you accountable and how we can develop a plan of action to ensure you get fit for good this time!
You’re probably thinking; I’m not in good enough shape for this yet and I don’t know anyone at Citywide Fitness… to be honest I’m really nervous to just walk in the door!
There’s no need to worry because you’ll find that at Citywide Fitness we maintain a lighthearted and welcoming atmosphere that caters to regular people just like you! So much so that a heap of our members call Citywide Fitness their second or third home.

Step Two: Meet Your ‘Coach For Life’
Let’s face it, you’re destined to fail if you don’t have someone in your corner backing you up every step of the way. Big box gyms bank on you never using your membership but we want to see you here each and every week making continued progress toward your goals.
This is where your ‘Coach for Life’ comes in and saves the day!
You’ll meet this person during your Health and Fitness Audit and your Coach for Life will work with you to understand exactly what motivates you, whats important to you and how you can work together to ensure you keep coming back and continue to achieve incredible progress.
If you fall off track expect a call from your Coach asking where you’ve been and encouraging you to get back in the gym. The accountability flows both ways: from Coach to Client and Client to Coach.
We’re here for you so falling off track and never coming back just doesn’t happen at Citywide Fitness.
We are 100% committed to your success and well-being, your goals become our goals and we want you to succeed sometimes more than you want it for yourself.
Step Three: Get Fit For Life ‘Fundamentals’
After your Health and Fitness Audit, you and your Coach for Life will sit down and work to create a custom plan of action for our Fundamentals program that caters to your specific goals and works with your current level of fitness. Whilst we have a solid plan mapped out, there is no cookie cutter way to introduce you to our programs and that’s exactly why we have a 1-on-1 Fundamentals program.
Group sessions can be scary at first. You don’t know anyone, some people look very fit and lots of the movements are things you may not have seen before. We understand exactly how you feel and we want to bring you into our gym in a way that makes you feel confident, excited and worry-free.
Our Fundamentals program is designed to teach you the movements we do in the gym in a safe environment without adding intensity until you show proficiency in the movements. It’s also designed to get you acquainted with your Coach for Life and to start to meet some of the members in the gym without being involved in the groups sessions just yet.
In Fundamentals you learn:
- Our foundational movements
- How to get a baseline level of fitness in safe environment
- Mobility and Recovery techniques
- How to set attainable goals with your Coach for Life
- How to maintain (and stick with) a good diet
Step Four: Stay ‘Fit For Life’
Once you have graduated from our Fundamentals Program it’s time to start group sessions. At this point you should be proud of your new found level of fitness and the excitement to start in the group will be off the charts. You’ve probably even made a few friends in the gym at this point!
You and your Coach for Life will decide how many times per week you should attend sessions and how often you both should meet 1-on-1 to ensure you stay on track. These are what we call our Hybrid Memberships, designed to keep you attending sessions and ensure you meet with your Coach for Life as often as needed.
No more starting a program and never finishing it!
The social environment, the community and the friends you make will give you a different sort of push and will help you reach new heights of fitness. Each and every person at Citywide Fitness is dedicated to not only ensuring they succeed but ensuring everyone else succeeds.
