This week we caught up with Amanda Leder to have a chat about her amazing journey since being a part of our Citywide Fitness community.
CF: Before finding citywide, what was your struggle? What were your biggest frustrations?
AL: I’d always struggled with weight & was constantly on a ‘yo-yo’ roundabout, losing a few kgs, then gaining more.
After seeing pics of myself at a wedding and cringing, I thought I would start again and managed to lose around 10kg.
Still overweight, with very little motivation and not really liking myself, I was ‘lured’ to Citywide to begin the next stage in my weight loss journey.
CF: How did your struggle and frustrations affect your life? What did you feel like before you made your transformation?
AL: My biggest frustration was not being motivated at all to do any form of exercise, basically I was lazy. I wasn’t really happy with the way I looked and was struggling to even walk up stairs without knee or back pain.
CF: How did our program help you?
AL: In Oct/ Nov 2015 I did my first 28 challenge which I found hard for the first couple of weeks but stuck to the program.
I received so much help with my eating habits, constant support from all the amazing staff and learned to really enjoy exercise.
CF: How is life different for you now?
AL: My whole outlook changed and I began to feel healthy and so much better within myself.
Fast forward to now and I’m minus 25 kg and down 4 dress sizes.
I’m so happy with my result and can’t imagine not having Citywide as part of my life.
